I don't understand the need to see the % when you can't see them in real life... I just broke it down to you the % that each team has mathematically. When a team wins the balls are removed. The lottery takes that into account, its common logic.
However if there is that much of a need to "see" the percentages change even though I just told you how it works I will gladly redo the lottery for the #2 and #3 picks.
Edit: why wasn't this brought up in any of the leagues last year including PHL where all the percentages werent shown...
1) Almost zero chance to win in those leagues, like this year. "Give a shit factor" to ensure legitimacy in draft lottery was an all time low. You just happened to find me on the right morning.
2) I traded up in both leagues post draft lottery, anything I would've had to say would've come off even more distasteful than it is right now with my lovely 2.8% chance to win LUL. I definitely should've realised this in Top Shelf as I had the 6th overall selection and I believe lost a draft position. Clearly missed on my behalf considering I roast you guys on every other dumb thing you do in your leagues.
AND THE ULTIMATE REASON 3) Because it didn't actually have to be brought up? If you remember, you ran the first overall lottery selection, Buffalo won in OG. THEN you removed Buffalo and their ball total and updated, therefore showing percentages, of the remaining balls in the lottery. Ran the 2nd lottery, TOR from WPG won. Removed TOR and those balls, therefore again updating the percentages and balls remaining. Ran the 3rd, and you won.
All percentages were shown last year.. you just didn't realise it while making this post. This website, you insert ball totals, run the lotto, shows who won. Want me to apologize for being stubborn?
Regardless, I've already spoke with Tom and he's going to be using a website that displays live win percentages going forward. He'll be conducting the lottery results, offered to stream them to us to ensure ultimate legitimacy and then will be bringing them over into a PHL video like the NHL reveal process. I respectfully declined as I don't want to spoil what the results will be over there.
edit: just want to add that the NHL hires world class law firm(s) in order to ensure the legitimacy of the lottery. Whether that should be trusted is an opinion of your own.
