We feel Duchene provides our team with a franchise centerman to build around, and comes in at a much cheaper contract than the other options we were looking at with this selection. With Duchene's cap friendly contract, we'll be able to add more established talent throughout our roster moving forward.

You can list a forward at any position you want them to be, since all forwards can play anywhere in our sim!

We feel very fortunate to land such a high caliber player this late in the first round. Kane will no doubt be the primary playmaker on this team, no matter where he lines up for us.
