6th Overall - Mikhail Sergachev - Defenseman
Sergachev scored an incredible 57 points in 67 games in his first year in the CHL. He is only 17 and is already 6'3" and 206 pounds. He is turning heads at the canadiens camp as we speak with his poise and confidence. The sky is the limit for this kid.
9th overall- Logan Brown - Center
Brown is also from the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. He also is young having just turned 18 in March and is just massive. He is 6'6" and 222 lbs. The son of former NHL player Jeff Brown has hockey in his genes. He scored 74 pts in 59 games and was a plus 24.
24th overall - Brett Howden - Center
Versatile 6'2" forward that has a 200 foot game. He has a nose for the net and creates chaos every shift. He will be the player that Tampa Bay needs in the NHL to compliment all those dipsy doodle little fucks.
26th overall - Tage Thompson - Center
- stands 6'5" and plays with intensity. Controls the puck well, great on the cycle, and gets around very well for a big man. Scored 32 pts in 36 games as a Freshman at the U of Connecticut
27th overall - Yegor Korshkov -Center
Another big man at 6'4" tall and skates well. Played extremely well for Team Russia at the WJC with 8 pts in 7 games. He is an older kid but the Leafs are very high on his quality and he is virtually Pro ready now.
28th overall - Jonathan Dahlen - Center
Son of former NHLer Ulf Dahlen, Jonathan can create offense out of nothing. He is very consistent and creative with or without the puck. He led his team in scoring at 18 yrs of age and scored 6 goals out of the team 12 total in the playoffs. he can do it on his won if needed.
29th overall. - Janne Kuokkanen - Center
Kuokkanen is a skilled playmaker that sees the ice well and can make pinpoint passes. Not overly big at 6'1" but very good skater and has performed very well at both his international tourneys.
round 2 to follow.
