As you will notice there have been a few updates to the website and some good news as well!
1. You will notice that there is a new image on the right side of the website. I created our logo for our OGSHL Entry Draft this upcoming season (took the template for the NHL 2015 Entry Draft and made it our own) You can click this image and it will bring you straight to the updated google doc that we will be updating as the draft goes on. This document also includes the order in which players were picked in the real NHL draft. Picks will still operate on the forum in the selection thread, but this is a much cleaner way to keep things organized.
2. You will notice that there is a Stanley Cup Champions logo for our winner the Philadelphia Flyers. This will remain on the site forever and gives teams an extra incentive to win the cup!
3. There is a link now on the right side titled OGSHL Free Agent Draft. This is a great document that keeps track of almost all of the notable free agents to choose from which we will be updating with the remaining prospects who were not selected in our Entry Draft (rounds 4-7). It also will keep track of the picks people have made in the Free Agent Draft. Picks will still operate on the forum in the selection thread, but this is a much cleaner way to keep things organized.
4. SimonT himself asked me for our ratings package that we made for the upcoming year so that he could post it on the actual STHS website to allow other people to download it!
5. We are currently looking to fill the positions of the Arizona Coyotes and the Washington Capitals as both have encountered personal problems in their lives that will not allow them to participate in the league to their fullest extent, especially with all the off-season activities approaching. We are actively looking to replace these teams!
6. I made the twitter feed a bit smaller as I felt it was a little too long. If any of you would like it to be a little smaller, bigger or remain the same size let me know!
