In regards to forwards being allowed to play every forward position WITHOUT penalty. It does not matter for THIS league if you play a LW at the RW position as we have enabled the button that Forwards Play All Positions. For those of you who have never heard of this button or lack doubts, it is straight from the STHS manual under section 8.14.7 located under General Options. " Forwards Play All Positions - check this option if you want to have farm forwards be able to play any of the forward positions without losing ability (if this is not checked a RW plugged in at LW will not perform as well as if he were at RW) "
However, we understand that some Owners want their teams to look authentic and have 4 LW, 4 C, 4 RW. You do not need to do this if you don't want to as you can have your team look any way you want it to. Once again there will not be a penalty anyway you have your forwards setup, if you have 12 forwards listed as Center they will not have any penalty at all if they play either wing. Keep in mind you need a minimum of 3LW/3C/3RW dressed so that the lines will be considered "complete"
The only position changes that actually need to be done are for special players such as Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Burns and any other play who plays both Forward and Defense. These players must be submitted to switch from Defense to Forward or from Forward to Defense otherwise there will be a penalty to those players.
